Star Wars A New Hope

A true classic that revolutionized the world of cinema when it came out. But it's not 1977 anymore. I want to enjoy this but can't help thinking others have done what this film did far better over time. Don't get me wrong I respect this film a lot and consider myself a fan of the series but I find this one a bit bland when comparing it to the others. I think everyone should see this film at least once. (most people already have) There is a lot worth seeing and the world, characters, and soundtrack are all iconic. Unfortunately, the story just doesn't interest me as much as it used to.

Throughout the years the film has been changed/updated in a lot of different ways. I like these changes all though it is a shame Disney isn't releasing the older versions of the film as well. Now that I think about it I don't think I have ever seen the original cut of the film. Hopefully one day it will be more easily acceptable in the future because I think it would be interesting to see.

A New Hope is undeniably a good film, a great film even, but for me, It's the least interesting film of the original trilogy.
