Puss in Boots the Last Wish

When I was younger I used to love Dreamworks! Shrek, Kung fu Panda, Madagascar I loved them all. Shrek 2 especially was one of my favorites, I watched it again and again until the DVD accumulated too many scratches over time. Since those days Dreamworks seemed to go on a bit of a downward spiral creating films that never seemed to interest me.

Until this movie came along and surprised me, not just by being good, but by being downright amazing!

Who would've thought that a character parodying another would take a life of its own?

The Animation in this film is incredible. You can tell a lot of time and effort went into making this film look as good as it possibly can. I loved every character (and there were a lot!) everyone from Goldilocks and the three bears to Death himself made an appearance and despite the large cast each with their own background & Stories the film still manages to keep on pace so there is never a dull moment.

I can't praise this film enough but if I had to come up with one complaint it would be that some jokes can be overused a little. Puss in Boots' infamous cute eyes was bound to make an appearance but I feel they may have gone overboard. (Seriously we see it like 10 times!)

This film has easily made its way into my top 3 animated movies and I look forward to being able to watch it again.
